Transiting Exoplanet Monitoring Project (TEMP). VI. The Homogeneous Refinement of System Parameters for 39 Transiting Hot Jupiters with 127 New Light Curves

چکیده
We present 127 new transit light curves for 39 hot Jupiter systems, obtained over the span of five years by two ground-based telescopes. A homogeneous analysis these newly collected together with archived spectroscopic, photometric, and Doppler velocimetric data using EXOFASTv2 leads to a significant improvement in physical orbital parameters each system. All our stellar radii are constrained accuracies better than 3\%. The planetary 37 targets determined $5\%$. Compared results, literature eccentricities preferentially overestimated due Lucy-Sweeney bias. Our photometric observations therefore allow ephemerides correction future window amounts change exceeding $10\,{\rm min}$ ten at time JWST's launch, including $72\,{\rm WASP-56. measured mid-times both photometry show no deviations from updated linear ephemerides, ruling out system presence companion planets masses greater $0.39 - 5.0\, rm M_{\oplus}$, $1.23 14.36\, \rm $1.65 21.18\, $0.69 6.75\, M_{\oplus}$ near 1:2, 2:3, 3:2, 2:1 resonances Jupiters , respectively, confidence level $\pm 1\,\sigma$. absence resonant systems is inconsistent conventional expectation disk migration.

Two new ” very hot Jupiters ” among the OGLE transiting candidates
As a result of a radial velocity follow-up of OGLE planetary transit candidates in Carina, we report the discovery of two new transiting planets with very short orbital periods: OGLE-TR-113 with m=1.35 ±0.22M Jup , r=1.08 −0.13 R Jup , P=1.69 day. These detections bring to three the number of known " very hot Jupiters " (Jovian exoplanets like OGLE-TR-56 with periods much smaller than 3 days), ...

The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) will search for planets transiting bright and nearby stars. TESS has been selected by NASA for launch in 2017 as an Astrophysics Explorer mission. The spacecraft will be placed into a highly elliptical 13.7-day orbit around the Earth. During its 2-year mission, TESS will employ four wide-field optical charge-coupled device cameras to monitor at l...

We report the discovery of a new planet candidate orbiting the subgiant star HD 118203 with a period of P = 6.1335 days. The best Keplerian solution yields an eccentricity e = 0.31 and a minimum mass m 2 sin i = 2.1 M Jup for the planet. This star has been observed with the ELODIE fiber-fed spectrograph as one of the targets in our planet-search programme biased toward high-metallicity stars, o...
متن کاملELODIE metallicity - biased search for transiting Hot Jupiters ⋆ II . A very hot Jupiter transiting the bright K star HD 189733
Among the 160 known exoplanets, mainly detected in large radial-velocity surveys, only 8 have a characterization of their actual mass and radius thanks to the two complementary methods of detection: radial velocities and photometric transit. We started in March 2004 an exoplanet-search programme biased toward high-metallicity stars which are more frequently host extra-solar planets. This survey...
متن کاملA Smaller Radius for the Transiting Exoplanet
We present photometry of WASP-10 during a transit of its short–period Jovian planet. We employed the novel PSF–shaping capabilities of the OPTIC camera mounted on the UH 2.2m telescope to achieve a photometric precision of 4.7 × 10 per 1.3 min sample. With this new light curve, in conjunction with stellar evolutionary models, we improve on existing measurements of the planetary, stellar and orb...
